Sheepteroids (Sheep Asteroids)
This game, Sheepteroids, is a twist on the classic arcade game Asteroids… with sheep! When I first started creating Flash games I tried a bunch of different things to add a “twist” on classic games. I tried changing the controls, adding features, and changing the graphics… One thing I tried was using animals in the games, and for some reason (and I have no idea why!) when I put sheep into the games people loved them! I’m not sure if it’s the “baa” sound, or simply that people think that sheep are funny animals, but this game has been hugely popular
The game takes the classic Asteroids gameplay, and adds a score multiplier. Hit 2 asteroids (sheep!) of the same size in a row to increase the multiplier for the level.
Instructions/Controls
Turn your ship left and right with the arrow keys, up to thrust and spacebar to fire!
