PegWars
When I first launched this game (originally called Blob Wars – same game, slightly different graphics!) it created an absolute storm! I was totally unpreppared for how amazingly popular the game would be, and it actually crashed my server! The reason for that was that the game was picked up as a featured game on addictinggame.com (one of the biggest games portals on the web) and was also featured in the British computer magazine Web User.
Peg Wars is a turn based strategy game. The idea is quite simple, take over the board and end up with more pegs than your opponent. Each turn you can either split an existing peg into an adjacsent square, or “jump” a square to move twice as far. If you place a peg next to one of your opponent’s then you convert their pegs to your own color!
The game can be played single player against the computer, or 2 player against a friend. Players can choose to play on a plain board or on 6 different board variations.
